John and Ceridwen Hughes Award

Would you like to nominate someone for the John and Ceridwen Hughes Award?

The nominations for 2018 will open shortly.

Do you know someone in your area doing excellent work with young people?  The John and Ceridwen Award is given annually during the Urdd National Eisteddfod to an individual who has made a substantial contribution to the lives of young people in Wales.

They need to be working through the medium of Welsh, or with Welsh learners.  They can be involved in any aspect of youth work with young people over 11 years old. Their work has to be face to face, within their community, with any youth organisation and outside of regular school hours.

The John and Ceridwen Award is offered by Dewi and Gerallt Hughes to commemorate their parents, who we very involved in youth work within their own community.
