295 Young Artist Scholarship Yr.10 and under 25 years old

Present work of Art, Design or Technology in any medium or collection of media. The work must be accompanied by a selection of the portfolio or a written summary.

The £2000 scholarship will be used to enable the winner to follow a course at a recognized Art School or College or as an investment for the winning artist to pursue a career in their field of their interest. 

301 The Composer's Medal under 25 years old

Adjudicator: Mared Emlyn

Compose either:

a. A cycle of songs to Welsh lyrics of the competitor’s choice

b. Part-song or chorus to Welsh lyrics of the competitor’s choice

c. A composition for one or two instruments

ch. A composition for an instrumental ensemble 

The work should be presented as notation or sound file.

336 The Chair Yr.10 and under 25 years old

Adjudicatiors: Eurig Salisbury and Peredur Lynch

A poem or strict metre poems or vers libre, no more than 100 lines on the theme, Thank you (Diolch).

It is not allowed for any completed work (in any format) or part of the work to be submitted to the Urdd Eisteddfod Chair or Crown competition if they have been previously published or entered into another competition.

351 The Crown Yr.10 and under 25 years old

Adjudicators: Sian Northey and Gwenno Mair Davies

A piece or pieces of prose over 2,500 words on the theme 'Curtain(s)  / Veil (s)' (Llen / Llenni).

It is not allowed for any completed work (in any format) or part of the work to be submitted to the Urdd Eisteddfod Chair or Crown competition if they have been previously published or entered into another competition.

374 The Drama Medal Yr.10 and under 25 years old

Theme: Agored (Open)

Compose a suitable drama or monologue to be performed on any medium, for two actors or less, not more than 15 minutes long.

366. Learners Medal 19 - 25 years old

The aim of the competition is to reward an individual who:

-committed to learning Welsh

-takes pride in his/her Welshness

-to be able to hold a conversation in Welsh

365. Bobi Jones Medal Yr.10 - 19 years old

The aim of the competition is to reward an individual who:

• committed to learning Welsh
• takes pride in his/her Welshness
• to be able to hold a conversation in Welsh

The Medal is awarded to the competitor who has presented the most promising work from all the products of Bl.10 and under 19 who reach the National Judging round.
