Free Entrance to Eisteddfod yr Urdd Carmarthenshire 2023 Maes for low-income families

This year the Eisteddod is taking place in the town of Llandovery between the 28th of May and the 3rd of June. Following financial support from the Welsh Government, the Urdd is pleased to be able to offer free entry to the Eisteddfod maes for low-income families. The funding is an agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru through their Co-operation Agreement

Who's eligible for these tickets?

You are eligible for free tickets for you and your family to the Eisteddfod maes if you receive one of the following:

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Child Tax Credit
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit
  • £1 Urdd Membership

 

How do these tickets work?

  •  Each day of the week will have a unique ticket to that day
  • These tickets will be limited to 6 per day for all low-income families
  • Friday, the 2nd June and Saturday the 3rd will also give free admission to Gŵyl Triban

How do I get these low-income tickets?

  1. Go to purchase the Maes Free Ticket for Low Income Families here
  2. As you purchase your ticket, you'll need to note why you are eligible
  3. You'll receive an email confirmation of your ticket request
  4. Your tickets will be sent out to you following the verification period
  5. You'll need to bring proof of why you are eligible to the Eisteddfod's ticket office

  2. Choose which tickets you need
  3. As you go to check out, put in your membership number into the discount code section
  4. You'll receive an email confirmation of your order
  5. Your ticket will be sent to you over email closer in time to the Eisteddfod
