    Bore Da

A colourful magazine for Key Stage 2 Welsh learners or young second language readers.

    Back

Important announcement (July 2021)

Like so many other charities and organisations, the Urdd has had to adapt significantly due to the pandemic, and last year, it was decided to publish digital versions of our magazines rather than print, free of charge. We very much hope that the magazines have been of help during lockdown.

Unfortunately, the Urdd is unable to continue to publish three magazines from September 2021, and the decision has been made to bring Bore da to an end. Therefore, June’s issue was our last edition of Bore da magazine.

This was a very difficult decision, and we are aware that it will be a disappointment to our loyal subscribers. However, we are determined to continue to publish Cip (for primary-age readers) and IAW (for secondary Welsh learners) and provide reading material across those age groups.

We will do our best to ensure that Cip magazine is accessible to primary-age Welsh learners. For example, we will continue to publish Seren a Sbarc puzzles and cartoons and will also be producing audio and video content to accompany Cip’s stories, too. The next issue will be published in September.

We very much hope you decide to transfer your subscription to Cip magazine by clicking below, and continue this journey with us. We would also like to remind you that back issues of Bore da magazine are also available to download from the website.
