Why did you decide to undertake an apprenticeship with the Urdd?

It was a great opportunity to develop my Welsh language further, to coach a variety of sports to different groups, and to be part of a proactive team.

What do you enjoy most about the apprenticeship?

The competitions, such as the Rugby 7s andthe GwylGynradd in Aberystwyth. It was a new experience where I was able to develop so many skills and have an opportunity towork with many new colleagues.

What is it like undertaking an apprenticeship through the medium of Welsh?

It is an opportunity to further develop my Welsh language skills, as well as an opportunity for me to refine it for the future.

What are your interests outside of work?

I like shopping and socialising with friends.

In what way has doing the apprenticeship affected your personal development?

Its helped to increase my confidence while working in different environments, such as competitions, training or running newclubs.

How has developing your skills (Numeracy, Communication or Digital Literacy) contributed towards your apprenticeship?

Developing my communication skills has helped my apprenticeship so much. I work with people in the community, where my understanding and communication have developed continuously. This has helped my apprenticeship, as I now approach each task with confidence and with an added understanding of the sporting world.

What do you hope to do after completing the apprenticeship?
