This Urdd centre gives priority to the environment, the emotional wellbeing of young people and the Welsh language in one magical residential experience. Between sea and mountain in North Pembrokeshire Gwersyll Pentre Ifan is perfectly situated to immerse young people in the environment and in tranquillity.

Canolfan Pentre Ifan was opened in 1992 as an educational centre with the emphasis on environmental education. In recent years the centre has received an investment of almost £1 million from various funders including Sustainable Communities for Learning, Welsh Government, Garfield Weston Foundation and The Prince of Wales's Charitable Fund, to develop the site with work including refurbishing the existing hall and transforming the other four buildings on the site into high standard, modern accommodation.

Pentre Ifan is a digital escape that encourages young people to reconnect with their environmental and cultural landscape and experience a more sustainable lifestyle. Our centre is a safe space for young people to share experiences, develop trust and relationships, develop resilience, wellbeing and to practice mindfulness.

We offer a range of activities and experiences that empower young people to work together, prioritise their wellbeing, learn how to look after our environment and contribute to a greener future.

We can provide a range of experiences for a wide variety of groups including youth groups, schools, groups of friends and families. From self catering accommodation packages to complete experience packages including food and drink- there is something for everyone at Pentre Ifan.
