Ella Grace Roberts comes from Bangor and attended Ysgol Tryfan, before starting on her apprenticeship.  Ella is a Level 2 Childcare apprentice and has been nominated for Apprentice of the Month by her assessor Rebecca, because she is "coming to the end of her course now and has been able to develop so much during the course of her qualification. When Ella started her apprenticeship, she had just finished school and was inexperienced in the workplace. Her confidence with the children and the way she looks after them is fantastic, and her confidence in completing coursework has also developed significantly. When observing her, I can see how much she enjoys her job and being with the children.

We've adapted the course to suit Ella, and as a result she says she enjoys learning and wants to complete work and reflect in her own time. Her confidence in using Welsh when recording and carrying out written work has also increased during the course.

Ella has answered a few questions about herself, so let's learn more about her.

Why did you decide to undertake an apprenticeship with the Urdd?
