The region of Gwent is very excited to welcome Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2027 to Tredegar House, Newport. This will be the first time ever for Eisteddfod yr Urdd to visit Newport. The Gwent region includes Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Newport and Monmouthshire, and the five areas will work together to ensure that Eisteddfod yr Urdd Bro’r Wenynen, Gwent 2027 is a great success.

Children, young people, schools and families from all corners of Wales and beyond will come to compete in over 400 competitions held during the 7-day festival. Local children will also have the opportunity to be part of the shows, projects and events leading up to the festival. In addition to the enthusiastic competitions, there will be exhibitions and exciting activities in the GwyddonLe (Science Tent) and the Arts and Crafts Tent, as well as performance stages featuring dancers, live bands and groups entertaining throughout the day, every day.
