    How to find the 2025 Maes

    Travelling to the Eisteddfod? This is how to find us!

Eisteddfod yr Urdd Dur a Môr, Parc Margam a’r Fro 2025 will be held at Margam Country Park, Neath Port Talbot.  

Please note that drivers are asked to follow the official yellow signs to reach the car parks, and to listen to any advice given in order to ensure that traffic keeps moving smoothly. Please also listen to traffic announcements on the radio.

Using Sat Nav - please use in the sat nav / google maps / Waze / any other navigation tool SA13 2TJ if exiting at J38, or SA13 2TG if exiting at J37.

If coming from the West, please come off at J38. At the Margam Interchange take the 1st exit on the A48 towards Port Talbot / Margam and follow Eisteddfod signage which will direct you to the car parks within Margam Main Entrance,.

If coming from the East: please come off at J37, and take the A4229 exit to Porthcawl / Pyle. At Pyle interchange , take 3rd exit onto A4229. At the roundabout take 2nd exit onto Pyle Rd/A48, and continue on this road until you see Eisteddfod Signage which will direct you to Car Parks.

Car Parks

The Car Parking for this year’s Eisteddfod yr Urdd has been designed to accommodate traffic coming from both J38 and J37 of the M4, please follow the EVENT SIGNAGE to the official car parks.

All parking is free and within walking distance to the Maes.

Blue badge holders 

Dedicated parking areas will be allocated for blue badge holders in the official Eisteddfod Car Parks. Visitors should follow the appropriate signs to guide them to the Blue Badge car park and follow the signs to the car park entrance. It will be necessary to display the badge in the vehicle.

There is a train station in Port Talbot, with a First Cymru service bus to Margam Park.
