Are you passionate about nature and the environment? Do have an interest in following a career within the sustainability and conservation sector?

Here’s a golden opportunity for you to gain experience in various aspects of the sector including talks from employers and employees from Nature and Conservation Organisations. This course is offered in partnership with WWF Cymru.

During the 3-day residential course individuals will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • experience habitat sessions - learn what makes the Mountain, Forest and coastal habitats unique and how organizations act to protect/enrich these to promote their biodiversity and cultural heritage
  • hear advice from employers in the environmental sector on possible paths within the environmental sector
  • taste different aspects of practical conservation - a variety of nature surveys, tracking specific species such as small mammals, promoting bird habitats, and identifying species of interest.

What ages is it suitable for?

This is a Welsh language course for young people in years 12 and 13 (16-18 year old)
