Urdd - Welsh Athletics Cross Country Series

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership between Urdd Gobaith Cymru and Welsh Athletics will return to host an exciting Primary Schools Cross Country events. 

These fun and friendly races give athletess a brilliant opportunity to experience competitive running events.

Cardiff - 08 November 2025

Distance - 1250m

Girls Yr.3-4 and Yr.5-6 race: 11:02am

Boys Yr.3-4 and Yr.5-6 race: 11:12am

Newtown - 29 November 2025

Distance - TBC

Girls Yr.3-4 and Yr.5-6 race: 11:15am

Boys Yr.3-4 and Yr.5-6 race: 11:30am

School awards for 1st–3rd place for highest placing schools.
