Endurance Adventurer & Athlete

Lowri Morgan is a BAFTA-winning broadcaster, intrepid adventurer, bestselling author and a world-class extreme endurance athlete.

Making her mark in the world of endurance sport, Lowri has competed in and won some of the toughest footraces in the World. These include the Dragon’s Back Race, Jungle Marathon and the 6633 Ultra Marathon. She was part of the first ever female crew to complete and take line honours in the Three Peaks Yacht Race, and has also completed the 333, an unique running challenge in Snowdonia, which saw her run from North to South Wales via the country’s highest peaks in 60 hours.

Many of her adventures have been filmed for S4C, BBC and Channel 4 and have awarded her with many National and international accolades and awards.

Following her achievements, she was named an ambassador for Visit Wales’ Year of Adventure, was invited to attend a private reception with the Queen as acknowledgement of services to adventure and exploration.  She was also awarded an Honorary Fellowship and Master’s Degree from Swansea University and won the Media Category in the National Adventure Awards 2015. Her best selling book Beyond Limits was published in 2020 and is already on its 4th edition
