How about giving the Eisteddfod a warm Môn welcome?

It would be amazing to see the island covered in red, white and green! Bunting is available to buy for £5 from the Urdd Office in Llangefni, and the money will go towards the local fundraising target.

And if you have big bales, stickers are available for free.

Guidance on placing signs and promotional materials

From the point of view of the Highways Authority, it is not possible to license the installation of signs, banners or similar promotional materials on the highway or within the boundaries of the highway, including on street furniture such as lampposts. This is due to specific statutory restrictions, together with important considerations relating to the safety of road users and the management of the traffic network.

However, we fully recognize the value and importance of the promotion campaign for the Eisteddfod, and are keen to be as supportive as possible within the current legal framework. Our advice is to consider using locations on private land, such as commercial sites, community buildings, or spaces belonging to owners who are willing to work together.

This method would enable the campaign to proceed without legal obstacles, and in a way that respects public safety, the road network, and the Council's statutory responsibilities.
