The Mistar Urdd Selfie Bench
As part of the Urdd’s cententenary celebrations, the Mistar Urdd Selfie Bench is travelling to a variety of locations across Wales and even to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham! The timetable for the visits are below – keep an eye out for updates or changes to the timetable / locations.

Mistar Urdd Selfie Competition
To celebrate the Urdd’s cenetenary, there's an opportunity to organise a week long visit by the Mistar Urdd Bench to your school, organisation or charity in the Autumn! Dates to be announced.
How to compete?
Take a selfie or record a short TikTok-style video of you on the bench and share it on social media using the hashtag #HunlunMistarUrdd.
Tips:
- Try and get the best possible background in your picture.
- The picture doesn't have to be an official ‘Selfie’, it's OK to have someone take your picture.
- Tag your school / charity or community into your posts.
We will share your pictures and videos on our social media pages in addition to this page (below).
The competition winners will be revealed at the end of September.
Thank you for supporting the Urdd, and good luck!

Health, safety and care:
There is a message on the bench that asks you to look after Mistar Urdd. This is in order to ensure as much as possible that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy sitting in Mistar Urdd’s company, but also to ensure your safety. Therefore, please do not sit, stand or climb onto Mistar Urdd himself, and we ask you kindly not to stand or jump on the bench.
Thank you.
