Dyddgu Hywel is a senior lecturer in Education at Cardiff Metropolitan University, but some of you may know her as a rugby player for Wales in the number fifteen shirt.

Following 8 years of playing in the red shirt, in the fifteen-a-side team, and the 7-a-side team. Dyddgu has won 31 caps for her country, played in several 6 Nations championships, and two Rugby World Cup tournaments in France and Ireland. She finished her rugby career in style as she was invited to the Barbarian team, to play against Wales at the Principality Stadium at the end of 2019.

Dyddgu is a 'mental health and wellbeing practitioner for i-Act', teaching and delivering workshops at the university and other organizations, and is eager to share well-being ideas and activities with members of the Urdd.
