Volunteering - Urdd Primary Schools Festival
Summary: The Urdd Primary Schools Festival. Primary schools from across all 17 regions of Wales who’ve qualified from their regional competitions will come to Aberystwyth. There will be 6 competitions held across the weekend. Urdd kit will be sold on site and sponsors will be attending to promote their brand.
Location: Caeau Blaendolau, Aberystwyth
Date: 13/05/2023 - 14/05/2023
Timetable:
- Saturday: 7 a side mixed and girls’ football, Cross Country
- Sunday: Netball, 7 mixed contact rugby, girls tag rugby
You will be expected to be on site from 9am - 5pm
Roles and responsbilities:
- Help to manage a pitch
- Ensuring schools know where they need to be
- Organising score cards and giving them to the Senior Pitch Manager
- Branding in the morning, take down after the event
- Helping out on the registration table
- Marshalling the cross country
- Selling tickets on entry
